All natural spray that contains essential oils that ticks and bugs dislike. Avoid being bitten by generously spraying your skin, hair, and clothing before heading outside.
This spray comes in a 4oz (or 8oz) PET bottle, and contains:
*witch hazel
*aloe vera
*sweet almond oil (which contains sulfur, and bugs HATE that!)
*distilled water
*peppermint and lavender hydrosols
*therapeutic grade essential oils:
-lemon eucalyptus
-kunzea (Australian oil locally called 'tick bush' - animals hide out under the bush to escape ticks!)
-citronella
-lemongrass
-rose geranium (which ticks hate!)
-cedarwood (tick deterrent)
-peppermint
-lavender
-cajeput
-rosemary
*radish root ferment (as a natural preservative)
Shake well before using! This is a natural, handcrafted product, and needs to be shaken before use. Reapply as often as needed. Recommended reapplication after 2 hours, more often in heavily infested zones.
No artificial chemicals or preservatives are used, and therefore this should be used within 12 weeks of opening. Store in the refrigerator, or in a cool, dry place.
I designed this tick spray after my children kept coming home with ticks! It was so gross! We live in the Maine woods, so it is to be expected, but still... ticks. I made this up and as long as I remember to spray them down before they leave, they come home tick-free. :)

Rosemary, eucalyptus, and peppermint can cause sensitivities in some children so use sparingly on children under 6. I have listed a baby-safe option for children 3 months+.
Test the pray on a small area of skin for 24 hours to see if it causes any kind of irritation because of skin allergies or sensitivities to the oils.
