Initially formulated in response to a plea from a local farmer and potter for something that would help heal their hard-working hands, "Farm Hands" moisturizing balm is a completely natural, concentrated hand balm that can relieve, repair and protect extremely dry, cracked hands.

This unique formula creates a protective layer on the skin’s surface that instantly boosts moisture levels and helps prevent further water-loss. And, with rich, healthy emollients such as lanolin, castor oil, local Maine raw honey and beeswax, paired with an herbal infusion of lavender, calendula, comfrey and plantain, "Farm Hands" has the natural goodness to soothe, soften cracks, reduce scaling, and ease itching.

Lanolin is an extremely hydrating, effective emollient that can soften the appearance and feel of rough, dry and flaky skin.

Raw Honey has antimicrobial, antioxidant, and humectant properties.

The anti-inflammatory compounds present in plantain and the regenerative potential in the high allantoin content of comfrey are why they have been employed for centuries as medicinal herbs.

Beeswax forms protective barrier over skin, but is non-comedogenic.

Directions

For best results, apply directly after hand washing, after bathing, and at bedtime, as these are the most effective times for moisturizing extremely dry skin.

Do not apply to open wounds and also avoid eyes and mouth.

As with all topical products, we recommend you spot test before use by applying a pea-sized amount and waiting 24 hours. If you experience any skin irritation, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist if necessary.
